I have to admit that I am the type of person that looks upon those sweet couples with disdain and a hint of jealousy. I always end up asking myself why I dont have that? Asking myself if there is something wrong with me and trying to figure out what it is so I can quickly fix it and move on with life having a boyfriend. The truth is that I personally could have a boyfriend, Ijust havnt had the opportunity to be with someone that I truly want to be with so I end up running away from the other boys because i know that somewhere out there someone better is waiting and searching for me too. So, I have decided to comprise a list of reasons why the single life isnt too bad, in fact it is better than the alternative.

1. You get to eat all the yummy stuff you want to.

2. The only person you have to dress up for is yourself.

3. Your late nights are all your own.

4. Only the doctor can tell you what to eat and when to eat it.

5. You decide what to shave and when you want to shave it.

6. Less money is spent on Valentines Day.

7. There are no anniversaries you have to remember.

8. No extra birthdays to remember.

9. There is no extra family that you have to shop for during the holidays

10. You don't have to put up with irritating in-laws.

11. It doesn't matter where you decide to leave your dirty clothes.

12. Everything is yours again and only yours.

13. You no longer have to consider anyones jealousy issues.

14. Your insecurities are the only ones that you have to live with.

15. Getting that far away job isn't influenced by what someone else wants or thinks.

18. The only person who gets to go through your stuff is yourself.

19. No-one else stalks your inbox.

20. You have all the time in the world to spend with your friends who have always been there for you and will always be there for you.

21. If you want to eat ice-cream all day you can have it without questioning it.

22. You can go on hundreds of dates.

23. You can spend entire days reading.

24. You don't have to put up with anyone's disgusting habits.

25. Your fetishes are the only ones that matter.

26. Your (sometimes) irritating friends are the only one's you have to deal with.

27. You never have to question your true feelings for the one you are with.

28. Your way is the only right way to do things.

29. You don't have to clean up anybody else's mess.

30. Your disasters are the only one's that you have to stress about.

31. You are no longer forced to make excuses for yourself.

32. There is much less pressure about your body weight.

33. People that find themselves in couples are fatter on average anyway.

34. You can check out and flirt with whomever you wish.

35. Your dreams and career can be your main focus.

36. You don't have to deal with anyone else's mood swings.

37. There are MANY more fish in the sea.

38. Say goodbye to fishing for compliments.

39. A lot less time is spent on the phone.

40. You can choose when you want to answer the phone.

41. You can drink whenever your heart desires.

42. Nothing moves from the place you put it.

43. You can choose when you want to have your quiet time.

44. Being single allows you to get to know yourself better, rather than someone else.

45. A bad relationship is worse that no relationship at all.

46. You can act however you want - YOURSELF!

47. You don't have to worry about how dirty your car or room is.

48. You can take as long as you want to get ready.

54. You can travel the world without worrying about missing someone too much, about whether they are staying faithful and what you are missing out on back home.
